The Village now has a contract with IWS. If residents need to arrange white good / house hold construction pick-up, they must call them directly at (845) 572-3300. There are no changes to the services that were previously provided by Donato Marangi, Inc.

When considering whether items are acceptable or not, please note that ANY items from commercial activities (home improvement, landscaping, etc) are NOT included in the acceptable item list. Sometimes your contractor will remove it for you, otherwise these items can only be removed by IWS at home-owner cost.

All trash, bulk, and recycling must be placed at the curb by 6:15 am on the pick-up day. Please consider the individuals picking up your garbage.

If there is no pickup on your garbage or recycling pickup day (on a holiday, for example), garbage will be collected the next day (or check the calendar posted on the Village Website).

THERE WILL BE NO PICKUP FOR BAGGED OR LOOSE LEAVES.

Although there is no pickup for leaves, you can make special arrangements to have your leaves picked up if they are in bio-degradable bags at your curb for $6 per bag. Call IWS at (845) 572-3300 to make this arrangement. You can pick up free bio-degradable bags at Village Hall.

Because our dumping facilities sometimes change their Holiday schedules, you may call the week of the Holiday to verify if your collection day should fall on one of the Holidays marked *.
